Rockstar Games' Asked & Answered page has been updated with a bunch of whiny emails and tweets from fans, as well as a handful of decent questions and asset prods.

Topics broached include weapon balance in max Payne 3 plus social club additions such as Leaderboards for the latest Max adventure, both of which are answered in the positive. Weapon balance is something the team dynamically updates on the fly with regular updates, while an improved social club experience for MP3 is set to be revealed in the coming weeks.

On the topic of another entry in the massively popular Red Dead series though, brought about my favourite answer:
Awesome, we love Red Dead too – and are thrilled that so many of you loved John Marston’s tale and are excited for more epic Western action. As we mentioned in our last set of Asked & Answereds to similar questions about the future of other game franchises like Bully and L.A. Noire, we don’t always rush to make sequels but that does not mean that we won’t get to them eventually. Stay tuned for further announcements about the future of the Red Dead series.
Of course, most of you have clicked through for the two new GTA V screens, which you can get a closer look at via the thumbs below, but the team also apologised for the lack of information so far since they announced GTA V.

"We are sorry if you find this frustrating," Rockstar wrote. "But please understand, we don’t do this because we ‘don’t care about our fans' 'don’t respect our fans’ 'hate GTA fans etc' – precisely the opposite! We do it because we want to make sure we only release 100% correct information, and because we want to keep plenty back for the actual game release so there are still lots of surprises when you play it."

There's currently no release window for GTA V, but stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.

Calling it now. PC will be delayed due to "making sure PC users get the best experience possible" as is the usual BS line. That of course really means that they want to wring as much money out of the console market before they release it for the PC.

Yeah, there's still, to my knowledge, never been a reason offered for why, either
