With the release of Horizon Forbidden West earlier this year, and the original Horizon Zero Dawn recently getting a port to PC, there are a few reports (MP1ST and VGC) stating the Sony and Guerrilla Games are working on a PS5 remaster of the original game. Where it will feature revamped visuals alongside accessibility features and quality of life improvements found in the sequel.

The rumours also point to a brand-new Horizon multiplayer game currently in development for PC and PlayStation. No details are available on that one other than it may feature co-op.

As for the Horizon Zero Dawn remaster for PlayStation 5, as the PC game and current 60-fps PS5 version can attest, the game is still quite the looker. The PC version upped things like environment detail, texture quality, and draw distances, so it's probably safe to assume this remaster will do the same - alongside adding some of the impressive character animation and lighting found in Horizon Forbidden West.
